Similarly on the android app, it scans my local network and auto applies similar settings, with the only difference being there's a hostname/ip/broadcast address set to 192.168.0.255 I know the Mac address and IP are correct, but can't say I'm sure about the subnet or remote port. On the windows application for example I have these settings. As stated in my first post, I've got an app on my phone and and gui app on windows to try this, but I do not know if they are working correctly. I have no other test cases to check with. I've never got this to work in the past, so I don't know of a foolproof way of sending that magic packet correctly, knowing that it should work. I just saw this post viewtopic.php?f=150&t=318067 which presented a little script that DOES keep the 'Wake-on: g' setting alive after restarting, but now I'm having trouble actually getting the function to work.

Could this be a hardware issue? From what I've read the line 'Supports Wake-on: pumbg' should mean that it's not, but maybe not a guarantee?

I've found a number of posts describing adding the `ethtool -s eth0 wol g` command to various start up scripts, but they don't seem to be making any difference.
